Stick To Your Fashion Trends, Your Opinion on Politics Are Unsound – Wontumi Replies KKD

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, a.k.a. Chairman Wontumi, is pleading with Ghanaian voters to consider keeping his party in office so that development projects can continue across the country.

He stated that the NPP "must not leave power" in order to see the completion of its efforts to transform the country. "We [NPP] need additional years so Ghanaians can see what we're doing."

Now we are begging Ghanaians to grant us the 2024 election; we have more work to do for the people to appreciate us," he said on NEAT FM's 'Ghana Montie' morning show. Chairman Wontumi criticized Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, also known as KKD, for claiming that "the person who coined the phrase 'break the eight' lacked knowledge." He advised Mr. Kwasi Kyei Darkwah to adhere to fashion trends and avoid politics, where his opinions are unreliable.

According to him, KKD's censure of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government is always too emotional. "KKD, I implore you, when you speak, do not let your emotions overpower your calmness.

When you want to speak, your voice should be louder than your silence. "But if you come to speak and all you do is insult, it makes you look like one of the people John Mahama has paid to criticize the government, like Kelvin Taylor," he told host Kwesi Aboagye.
