Bin Salih commiserates with Chairman Bunas

Before the emergence of partisan politics, people were united through kinship and family ties.

This means that despite differences in political ideologies, there is still that one thing that binds Ghanaians together especially during social events.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, on Friday, February 3, 2023, paid a visit to the Upper West Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to commiserate wth him on the lost of his wife, the minister has said.

The minister indicated he was out of town when he got to hear about the sad incident and therefore needed to visit the bereaved family with his team to sympathize with them.

He made this known in a facebook post on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

"On Friday 3rd February 2023, we were at Limanyiri Vuori to commiserate with the bereaved family of Abdul-Nasir Sani ( Chairman Bunas). While I was in Accra a few days ago, I was informed of the death of Chairman Bunas first wife. We, therefore, had to visit the bereaved family to express our sympathy. Chairman Bunas is the Upper West Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). May Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus, Ameen," the minister wrote.

Chairman Abdul-Nasir Sani known in political circles as Chairman Bunas or the Heavyweight Chairman lost his first wife recently, throwing the NDC fraternity in the region into a state of mourning.

Politicians across the political devide have been commiserating with the NDC newly re-elected Chair.
