Emphasizing collective development: Dr. Bin Salih urges unity in Upper West Region

Story by: Alaska Sungbalonno

In a recent interview with Asprilla on Home Radio following the NPP presidential primaries, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih stressed the importance of collective collaboration for the development of the Upper West Region.

He emphasized that it is crucial for the people of the region to prioritize unity over individual party interests.

According to him, while other regions in the country focus on the collective development of their respective areas, the average Upper Westener tends to concentrate more on matters such as MMDCE and Regional ministerial appointments rather than the overall development of the region. This, he believes, hampers progress and hinders the region from reaching its full potential.

Expressing his satisfaction with the respect he accords to individuals from different party backgrounds, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih highlighted the need for a unified approach.

He stated that fostering collaboration and unity is essential for the region to secure its share of the national development cake.

"We need to come together and fight for the national cake rather than our individualistic party interests," said Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih."

His call for a collective effort underscores the belief that prioritizing the region's development over political affiliations will pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for the people of the Upper West Region.
