TF Exponential FC stuns Real Nadowli United in an electrifying tribute birthday match for Speaker Bagbin

In a special tribute match organized by Sombo Area Youth and Development Association (SAYDA) to celebrate the birthday of the esteemed Speaker of Ghana's Parliament, RT. Hon. Alban S. K Bagbin, the atmosphere at the Sombo school park was buzzing with anticipation as Real Nadowli United lock horns with TF. Exponential FC.

The crowd consisting of dignitaries and enthusiastic fans, was treated to a thrilling encounter that showcased the talents and skills of both teams.

The match kicked off with the RT. Hon Speaker exchanging pleasantries with both teams, with the ceremonial kick of the ball to commence official proceedings.

Both teams adopted an attacking approach right from the start, with TF. Exponential FC making some few incursions at goal, and their efforts were rewarded with a howler from the Real Nadowli United shot stopper.

The midfield duo of Rahim Kuffuor and David Obeng showcased remarkable precision, creativity and vision that outclassed that of Real Nadowli United midfield.




As second half commenced, TF. Exponential FC realized the need to respond and salvage the match. They began to push forward, increasing the intensity of their attack and putting Real Nadowli United defense under immense pressure.



A defense mixed up resulted in the center half of Real Nadowli United trying to clear off a floated ball which ended at the back of his own net to the delight and celebration of TF. Exponential FC making it two.

in their quest to find the equalizer threw more men behind the ball resulting in the breach of their defense, and conceded from an open range with a powerful drive sent in by David Obeng to make it three for TF. Exponential FC.

The match was brought to a hault on the 66minutes to mark the 66 birthday of the revered Speaker with applauses from the players, dignitaries and fans to the admiration of the Speaker.

Despite their retenless efforts, Real Nadowli United failed to breach TF. Exponential FC defense, as their resilient back line held strongly until the final whistle.

A cash price of GHC1000, 00, a giant trophy and medals were presented to the winners, TF. Exponential FC and GhC 500.00 and medals going to Real Nadowli United side.
