Cape Coast North generates more income than Cape Coast South. Vote for NDC if you want developments. Mad. Mabel Eshun

Madam Mabel Essoun, the communication officer for the opposition party NDC in the Cape Coast North constituency, expressed her dissatisfaction with the ruling party NPP for not bringing in more development projects to their area.

“Cape Coast really generates a lot of money into the pocket of this sitting government but has failed to live up to expectations when it comes to developing their constituency. We have 2 police stations (1 at Abura and 1 at UCC), 2 traditional universities (University of Cape Coast and Cape Coast Technical University), Cape Coast Stadium, Abura Market with a lot of taxi ranks with many privates, and other institutions. All these generate money, but see how this government has failed to bring us developments.”

In closing, she urged the residents of Kwaprow and Cape Coast North to support the NDC in the election if they desired additional development initiatives.

“I am using this opportunity to tell the youth and people of Kwaprow to vote massively for His Excellency Ex-President John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Dr. Kwamena Minta Nyarko if they want their constituency to develop. Hon. Dr. Minta Nyarko has really forced his way through to get most of the youth here on training fields, brighten the streets of Cape Coast North with more street lights, scholarships for most students, school decks for most primary schools, and other projects. Our MP as an NDC MP under the NPP government has done most for us, and more will be done if the NDC becomes the ruling party.

Speaking to the press at the opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art taxi station made possible by their workaholic NDC Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North, Hon. Dr. Kwamena Minta Nyarko, Madam Essoun explained that while the current NPP government has completely ignored their constituency when it comes to developmental projects, he has been able to lobby and get the majority of the work here, with more to come, thanks to the MP's tireless efforts.
