Dj Mickay wins big at Osabarima Royal Awards 2024

DJ Mickay, also known as Mr. Michael Otoo, was named "The Most Exciting DJ" at the 4th Osabarima Royal Awards, which took place at Eminstimadze Palace on January 20, 2024.

In the entertainment industry, Dj Mickay is a well-known DJ who is renowned for his well considered song selections for high-profile events including parties and commercials gatherings. He moved from Accra to Cape Coast to secure a job, and he began his career as a DJ by competing in a DJ battle at Okokroko FM, which is now Heaven FM. He has been in the industry for almost ten years. He worked at Darling FM after the competition before going on to Asaase Radio in Cape Coast.

Here in Cape Coast, he has received numerous invitations from management of pubs and clubs to perform for their patrons.

Due to his talent, he has been able to DJ at most events held in the central area and throughout Ghana, such as the Central DJs Awards, Central Music Awards, Central Business and Entertainment Awards, and Central Media Awards. He also has a long list of accolades to his name.

On January 20, 2024, he was awarded this prestigious title for his dedication, perseverance, passion, and distinctive playlist that changes depending on the occasion.

This happened after Ezone Network honored him with an honorary award for his dedication to the entertainment industry during the most recent Central Media Awards.
