Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, the former Central Region MUSIGA Chairperson, has been defeated by his opponent, King Pee.

After years of legal wrangling, the election for the next MUSIGA president has finally taken place.

The election on October 10, 2023, was peacefully concluded. Clarence Kenneth Ekow Pieterson received 47 votes, compared to 7 votes for Queen Wan, who is currently in London.
