Loan Officer Beats Client Mercilessly For Refusing To Pay Debt

A video that has been circulating on social media shows how loan recovery officers of Palmpay in Nigeria resorted to using forceful tactics against a customer who had delayed in repaying his loan debt.

The customer was found in the market and publicly dragged by the officials, which has caused a lot of dissatisfaction among netizens who have seen the video. The officials' violent approach was necessary as the customer had defaulted on repaying the loan after being chased for a long time.

In the video, it is apparent that the young man had borrowed thousands of Naira from the loan bank but had not paid back the principal or the interest. The loan officers traced him to the market, where he was secretly buying some foodstuffs.
