My Vagina Horror Story

Sometimes people can be incredibly hurtful without meaning to be. I’m writing this because I’m in a situation that has hurt me deeply and I want to share it to warn others.

My boyfriend of three years shocked me recently. He admitted that he does not find vɑg!nɑs attractive – and mine especially repulsive.

I thought that I knew the man I was dating, but the person who I have shared my vɑginɑ with for three years doesn’t even appreciate it. It feels like a huge betrayal, especially considering that we’ve had a relatively exploratory ƨǝx life.

Or so I thought.

It turns out that he was embarrassed by my vɑginɑ and active avoidance of it. He covers us with a duvet when we engage in oral sex, and he jokes about bodily fluids being disgusting.

It’s heartbreaking and I feel like he doesn’t take me seriously. His attitude and his jokes make me feel incredibly unattractive and self-conscious.

I understand that everyone has their own preferences and insecurities, but I never would have guessed that my boyfriend of three years would be so hurtful to me.

It’s a reminder that not every relationship is a healthy one, even if it’s lasted for a number of years.

I want to urge others to truly evaluate their relationships. If someone is making you feel like you’re not worth their time, you’re not worth their appreciation and respect, then you’re probably in an unhealthy relationship.

Don’t be afraid to step away and find someone who appreciates and loves you.
