No pastor is powerful; it’s just branding - Popular Prophet

Prophet Seth Okyere Amankwaa, who is the General Overseer of the Brook International Ministry, has made a bold statement that all ministers of God are powerless.

He believes that most pastors employ marketing techniques, including branding, to promote themselves, and they do not possess any real power.

The prophet based his assertion on the fact that Jesus Christ himself, according to the Bible, requested that God’s will be done after praying in the garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem. He made these remarks on Prime Morning on Friday, concerning the essence of the death of Christ, which is typically remembered on Good Friday.

Prophet Amankwaa further emphasized that pastors who claim to have power and the ability to answer prayers are dishonest. He stated that no human being on earth is answerable to another’s prayer request, and everyone is capable of feeling God’s presence when the time is right. He also contended that an answered prayer is reliant on God and the faith of the individual, and even if he were to pray for someone, he wouldn't know when God would answer that person.

The general overseer advised individuals, especially Christians, to consistently read the Bible, demonstrate their own faith and beliefs, and bear their own cross. He urged the public not to be misled by others and to believe in the Lord and do what is right, as everyone is accountable to God.

Prophet Amankwaa also cautioned pastors to refrain from spreading false teachings to their congregations and to demonstrate honesty in their approach to ministry. In conclusion, he believes that pastors should stop portraying themselves as powerful and obligated to answer prayers, as they do not possess such power.
