Nogokpo shrine cannot kill Agyinasare For This Reason: Prophet Salifu Amoako

The founder and leader of Alive Chapel International, Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako, has stated that the Nogokpo shrine in the Volta Region does not possess the power to harm Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the founder of Perez Chapel International. According to Prophet Amoako, God has bestowed an abundance of anointing upon Archbishop Agyinasare, making him too formidable to be killed by mere deities.

Prophet Amoako emphasized that it is incorrect for the traditional leaders of Nogokpo to issue threats and ultimatums against the man of God. He firmly believes that the anointing upon Archbishop Agyinasare is so potent that no evil spirit can harm him. Prophet Amoako conveyed this message exclusively to Kwaku Owusu Adjei during an interview on Adwenekasa on Accra-based Original FM 91.9.

Furthermore, Prophet Amoako clarified that Archbishop Agyinasare's comment about Nogokpo was taken out of context, and people failed to grasp his true intentions, leading to the situation being blown out of proportion.

On Sunday, June 4, 2023, Presiding Bishop Benjamin Ohene Aboagye of Perez Chapel International made a declaration regarding the issue. He announced that the church has chosen to rely on God to fight this battle for them and their leader. As a result, a one-week fast has been declared from the 5th to the 11th of the month, with the expectation that pastors, elders, deacons, deaconesses, and all church members will participate.

Archbishop Agyinasare's statement labeling Nogokpo as the "demonic headquarters" of the Volta Region has angered the town, which is home to a deity associated with justice and thunder.

To provide some context, during a sermon delivered to a large congregation on May 25, Archbishop Agyinasare recounted an incident where a tire came off Bishop Yaw Adu's vehicle as they passed through Nogokpo on their way from Aflao to Agbozume. This incident led Archbishop Agyinasare to refer to Nogokpo as the "demonic headquarters" of the Volta Region, along with his previous discussion about witchcraft.

In conclusion, Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako believes that Archbishop Charles Agyinasare possesses an anointing too powerful to be harmed by the Nogokpo shrine, while Archbishop Agyinasare's church has decided to engage in fasting and seek God's intervention in the situation. The controversy arose from Archbishop Agyinasare's remarks about Nogokpo, which offended the town and its inhabitants.
