Chief of Dompim Pepesa adopts UMaT's Chamber of Mines Hall's Traditional Council

The Chief of Dompim Pepesa, Oheawora Bian Nyonwa Panyin IV has made a historic decision to adopt the traditional council of the Chamber of Mines Hall (Blasters).

This adoption aims at fostering a stronger connection between tradition and education, promoting mutual understanding and knowledge exchange.

This underscores the recognition of the value and wisdom embedded in ancestral customs and practices by the Dompim Pepesa Divisional Council.

The integration of the Chambers traditional council into the Dompim Pepesa traditional structure will promote a harmonious blend of traditional wisdom and insight.

This sets a precedent for other communities and institutions to embrace cultural collaboration and bridge the gap between tradition and academia.

At a short ceremony on Friday, June 30, 2023, Ohyeawora mentioned that he has heard a lot about Blasters, especially their morale support for the current Ghana Premier League Champions Sc Medeama’s home and away games, and at various public functions.

He urged them to grow their faith in tradition and count on him for all kinds of support, especially in finances.

The leader of the Blasters also expressed gratitude on behalf of the council and promised to learn and cooperate with their parent council to promote development through culture and tradition
