Effia MP, Joseph Cudjoe Seeks Re-election, Touts Record of Unity and Progress

Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, the Member of Parliament for Effia in the Western Region, asserts that his contributions to the constituency have left a significant mark, benefitting even his political contender.

Cudjoe proudly states, "My developmental initiatives are evident everywhere in Effia. The roads, in particular, have been constructed to facilitate easy travel for all, including my contender who utilized them to submit candidacy forms at a one-story office complex that I initiated."

Reflecting on his approach, he emphasizes, "I pride myself on the Men@work effect. I am not discriminatory; I am a unifier, and this inclusivity sets me apart. Is there even a valid reason for a contest?"

He further observes, "This demonstrates the NPP party's commitment to democracy, tolerance, and inclusivity. The party adheres to the prescribed democratic process every four years, as we are currently witnessing."

Addressing journalists and receiving support from numerous delegates and party members at the party's office, Cudjoe maintains that he has fulfilled his responsibilities as an MP efficiently. He confidently expresses, "The success of my past efforts has emboldened me to seek re-election."

Cudjoe assures that his supporters are mature and comprehend the electoral demands, committing to a fair campaign focused solely on his achievements. He states, "My supporters refrain from insults and denigration. They have every right to boast, given their leader's commitment to action and the tangible evidence of progress in Effia."

Acknowledging the challenges faced, he humbly admits, "I cannot claim to have solved all of Effia's problems, but I am unwavering in my pursuit of the best for the constituency. I implore delegates to support me once again, as I have gained the favor of influential figures, ensuring a promising future for Effia."
