Lady Pastor Mrs. Sharon Baidoe Ansah has been awarded the Woman of Worth Personality

Lady Pastor Mrs. Sharon Baidoo Ansah has been awarded the Woman of Worth personality of the year at the Women of Worth Conference held at Nsuta in the Tarkwa

Nsuaem Municipality over the weekend. Mrs. Baidoc-Ansah who is a Pastor at the Makarios Church, Station Branch, and the Chief Executive Officer of Fransha Cakes and More, was awarded, based on her philanthropic activities for the poor and needy in society and her passion to empower women and persons with disabilities

The Women of Worth Conference is held every year to celebrate the achievements of women who are impacting lives and serving as role models in the Tarkwa Nsuam Municipality.

This conference is organized in March by Inclusive Tech Group and Golden Tree Foundation as part of International Women's Day, an opportunity for women to celebrate, motivate and empower each other.

It was under the theme: "Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality" Lady Pastor Mrs. Sharon Baidoe Ansah expressed her appreciation to Inclusive Tech Group and Golden Tree Foundation for the recognition.



Speaking on the topic "women of disabilities, innovation and technology" a member of the Inclusive Tech Group and a lecturer at the University of Mines and Technology Dr. Priscilla Emefa Amenya Kove called on the general public to embrace persons with disability in society.

She noted that with technology, there are lots of assistive devices like color detectors, sign gloves, and advanced sticks for the blind that persons with disability can use to make their lives better.

On her part, Mrs Gloria Addisu Hasford, the founder of Golden Tree Foundation encouraged women to take advantage of the flexibility technology provides to excel in their endeavors.
She excited remote jobs and online learning as possible ways women can explore to aspire higher and take care of their families.

Speaking to Dynamite News, a Lady pastor with the Makarius Church, Tarkwa Lady Pastor Barbara Azanu said, ladies, can use technologies available to their benefit. She said we can use the mobile phone in marketing a business which will make the business go far.

According to her, women have to be innovative in their dealings, which will elevate them to match up with technological advancement and make them stand out from the ordinary
through the use of technology.
She added that they are not competing with the men rather chance should be given to them to learn and become experts in technology.
