His remarkable consultancy services have solved lots of problems in companies, religious bodies, and other organizations.

Through these extension services and other material mobilisation, Prof Kumi-Boateng has within 16 years of dedicated work brought over GH¢20 000 000.00 to the University.

GOD'S GRACE AND FAMILY LIFE
Prof Kumi-Boateng attributes his remarkable rise in less than 16 years of work at UMaT to the trust he has placed in the sovereign arms of the Lord Jesus.

In a post on his Facebook wall and subsequent interview by CitiTV and publication by the Insight News Paper, he tells the story of the Grace of God upon a hopeless toilet attendant boy from Bantama who was saved by Jesus to become a Professor.

He is married to Mrs Harriet Kumi-Boateng (Acting Human Resource Director, National Commission on Culture, Accra, Ghana) and they are blessed with two children (Maame Owusuaa Kumi-Boateng and Kofi Gyimah Kumi-Boateng).

Prof Kumi-Boateng is a member and an Elder of the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Tarkwa, of the Church of Pentecost. He is the Assistant Tarkwa Area Youth Leader and a member of the National Youth Political Chamber of the Church of Pentecost.

His inaugural lecture, which comes off tomorrow, Thursday, June 15, 2023, also falls on his birthday.
The general public is invited to join in the celebration as he speaks on the topic: "Mapping the poor in Ghana, a Geospatial Multidimensional Poverty Index Approach".
