UMaT is the Best Internal Audit Unit - Tertiary Category for 2022/2023

The University of Mines and Technology, UMaT has been adjudged the Best Internal Audit Unit - Tertiary Category, for the 2022/2023 auditing year at the just ended Annual Internal Audit Conference held at the UPSA, Accra.

UMaT received the award for it's continuous drive for quality, penchant for learning new methodologies and team work among staff of the Internal Audit Unit.

Present to receive the award were the Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Anthony Simons, the Chairman of the University's Internal Audit Committee, Mr Nathan Ekow Yankey, the Internal Auditor, Mr Samuel Effah and other officers of the University.
