Fix Our Roads For Us-Zenu Assembly member tells Road Minister

The Assemblymember of the Zenu-Sraha Electoral Area, Ashaiman, Hon. Jerry John Adjorlolo, has called on the Road Minister, Hon. Amoako Atta, to fix the roads within his electoral area as a matter of urgency.
This comes in the wake of numerous cases of miscarriages, robberies, and other criminal activities within Zenu and its environs.
The Assembly member made this call during an interview with the media today about the deplorable nature of their roads.
Accidents
Hon. John Adjorlolo stated that due to the poor state of their roads, accidents continue to be prevalent.
He said that in an attempt for drivers to avoid potholes, they sometimes end up causing accidents through head-on collisions.
"Drivers within my electoral areas have been involved in accidents, all in the name of bad road networks. In their attempt to avoid potholes and manholes, they rather put themselves in danger," he recalled.
Plight
The Assemblymember indicated that expectant mothers' plight has worsened as a result of bad roads.
According to him, issues of miscarriages have been on the rise, posing serious health and life-threatening issues to pregnant women.
"It is sad to note that pregnant women are suffering in the area. Many of them face the bluntness of pothole impacts, which eventually leads to some of them miscarrying in the process. It is a serious issue that needs the attention of the Road Minister," he appealed.
He further called on other Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to come to their aid to help in efforts to find a lasting solution to the road menace in the electoral area.
