NPP is a 'used and dumped' party — Ndewura Freeman

A stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bole-Bamboi constituency, Ndewura Freeman has bemoaned the treatment chiefs in the Savanna Region are receiving from the government.

According to the Ndewura Freeman, despite he and other traditional rulers being die-hard card members of the NPP, nothing much has been them at their level.

Some time, ago, I was the only person to talk against the NDC and John Mahama in this town, but when the NPP came to power, they neglected me and they are now partying with NDC people.

Even inviting me as a chief of this area to a government functionary is a big problem for them. It was only last the DCE invited me to chair the Farmers' Day program here in the constituency, Ndewura Freeman bemoaned to a leading member of the party, Nana Obiri Boahen.

Ndewura Freeman, who is a former RTU player, in a head-to-head conversation with Nana Obiri Boahen advised NPP to revise their notes if they want to stay in power.

Nana Obiri Boahen who spent two days in the region, on the next day visited the paramount chief of Lawra and told Naa Puowele Karbo IV, late Abayifa Karbo tomb, Lawyer Dyakah at the Lambussie Palace and B. K Adam's tomb before visiting the tomb of the late Ama Busia at Wenchi.

Nana Obiri Boahen urged the people to support Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to win the next general elections
