RTU appoints coach Baba Nuhu Mallam as their new manager

Real Tamale United RTU has today announced the signing of Baba Nuhu Mallam as their new coach following the departure of Coach Shaibu Tanko.
The master tactician has signed a two year contract with an option to renew.

Coach Tanko refused to renew his contact with the pride of the North following an alleged threats from people around the club.

Coach Mallam holds CAF license A and UEFA B and other coaching certificates including FIFA Elite Women, grassroots, youth football course and GFA 5-year Development course certificate.

Coach Mallam was appointed as the Head Coach of the Black Maidens in 2020 a d retained his post in April 2022.

He lead Lepo Ladies to Women’s Premier League in 2012/2013 and Ghana Women U-17 Assistant Coach, Uruguay 2018.

RTU will welcome Samatex in the match day 1 of the betpawa premier league at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
