A newly birthed non-profit organization, "Time To Think Foundation," has a burning desire to help alleviate poverty among brilliant but needy students in some deprived communities in Ghana and Africa at large.
In line with this yearning, the leadership of the organization has slated September this year to embark on a mega donation to eight (8) schools in about four regions of Ghana.
Ishadia E/A Primary School and Nasiria Primary School, both located in Karaga District in the Northern Region, will benefit from these generous donations.
Other schools to have a share of this juicier cake in Ghana's Eastern Region include Sabilu Rashad Islamic Primary and Junior High School in Akuse and Amedika M/A Basic School in Amedika.
Apart from these trips, the September charity caravan will culminate at two other schools each in the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions.
Speaking to the media, Akorsah Kofi Richard the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the foundation said, "We aim to improve the learning and skills of these children and provide materials and cartoons to achieve high and practical learning skills in the future."
About the Foundation
The Time To Think Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps and wants to help children from kindergarten to junior high school.
The Foundation intends to operate in Ghana and other African countries such as Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso, with a focus on areas with little educational support.
The Foundation also hosts learning seminars, role-plays, and workshops, as well as exchange programs between regions and African countries, and actively promotes exposure.
It also seeks to identify intellectually and financially needy individuals who can advance their education through scholarships in the future.
All of the preceding is also applicable to the schools in African countries that will be visited and benefited from the Foundation.
