Accra Majestics Rugby League Club organises Clean Up Exercise

The Accra Majestics Rugby League Club on 17th September, 2022 organised a cleanup exercise to tidy up a section of the Borla Beach as they celebrated the World Clean Up Day.

World Cleanup Day is an annual global social action program aimed at combating the global solid waste problem, including the problem of marine debris. It is coordinated by the global organization Let's Do It! World.

The activities for the day included cleaning up of the beach and a Beach Rugby League match.

The match was played between two teams; The Zongo Warriors and The Estate Squad.
The Zongo Warriors weren't a match for the Estate Squad as they beat them by scoring 13 tries. Estate Squad could only score 3 tries.

In attendance were Coach Eric Sowah and players from his Academy- African Warriors, Charity Pukity and Anthony from Nungua Tigers, Rachel Ankomah (Founder of Accra Majestics Rugby League Club), Elias Ayertey (Head of Marketing/Branding- Accra Majestics), Moses Agbenu (Logistics & Procurement Officer - Accra Majestics), Samuel Ofori (Youth Cordinator/Events Manager - Accra Majestics), Abdallah Bilal (Assistant Team Manager - Accra Majestics) and players from Accra Majestics, Sadique Kabutey, Sadik Ahmed and Sheriff Arimeyaw (Firm Foundation)
