Baleen, Beluga crowned champions of inaugural Uganda Rugby League Championship

Last weekend saw the conclusion of the first ever Uganda 13s Championship, with Baleen and Beluga taking first place in the women and men's divisions respectively.

The championship began on April 30th and ended on June 3rd.

Baleen dominated the women's division, defeating Sharks 68-06 and Insomniacs 72-06 in the finals to take the trophy.

In the men's divisions, Challengers started strong against Seals but fell short in the finals to Beluga, resulting in defeat. Beluga demonstrated they deserved the title by winning all of their matches.
