Yet another close encounter, Cook Islands came from behind to beat Wales 18-12 in their opening Rugby League World Cup match in Leigh.
Cook Islands was down by 4 points at the end of First Half after a tough match against the persistent Wales.
18 minutes into second Half, Davvy Moale scored a try, equalizing for the Kukis. Steven Marsters converted ,bringing the scores to 12 - 14 in favor of Cook Islands. The Kukis sealed their victory at the 63rd minute when Steven Marsters scored a try for his team.
