Tigers really made a statement in their opening game, which was against the 2022 Ghana 13s Championship champions, Skolars. Tigers had a comfortable lead the entire game, but because they failed to convert, they fell to Skolars.

A great scene was filmed when the entire family of Majestics player Bilal Abdallah, who is presently on loan at Tigers, came over to witness the games.

They showed up from day one till the finish of the first round.

6. Accra Bears lose all of matches.

Luck wasn't on the side of debutant, Accra Bears as they lost all their matches in the first round. They improved in their encounter against Skolars, scoring 12 points, their highest total in the first round of the tournament.
