Leading transformational leadership advocate, Young Professionals and Youth Coalition, YPYC has announced that the 14th edition of its flagship leadership development TRANSFORM SUMMIT would come off at the GREAT Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology , Kumasi, on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Conference Host and Founder of YPYC, Andy Osei Okrah, making the disclosure to the media in Accra, indexed the uniqueness of this year’s version to the assembly of top-notch Academicians, Politicians and Business magnates billed to address the 14th edition of the leadership summit in the Ashanti regional capital on the theme, “next generation leadership, unlocking the leadership in you”.
Conference speakers including Professors Ellis Owusu Dabo, Pro vice-chancellor, KNUST , Prof. Christian Agyare, provost of knust, and Dr. Marion Okoh-Owusu, Western regional health Director would brainstorm the rising challenge of youth unemployment, complete with modalities to drive down the frightening statistics, while proffering modalities to engender growth.
The statement issued and signed by Mr. Okrah said the highlight of the mentors and mentees leadership transform summit which, is the acclaimed awards scheme, would witness the recognition of some outstanding, high-end performing Ghanaians in the food chain industry, media, Politics and academia among others.
The Transform Summit is held annually to recognize the display of exemplary leadership skills among the youth in a highly competitive voting process by the public.
“Our success story, imprinted on the minds of thousands around the Globe, is credited to our mentors, Corporate Ghana, Royalty, the media and the public in General” declared YPYC President, Andy Osei Okrah.
The statement paid glowing tribute to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu the second, for his unblemished life-patronage, the media for sustained coverage and traction, conference speakers for shared knowledge and award winners who defy odds and etch their footprints in the sands of time, annually.
The transform summit which, brings academia, job seekers and students together, attests to our keen commitment to galvanizing the youth into a stronger force for the much-needed transformational leadership that Ghana, and, indeed, Africa, needs.
