IM Legacy Projects Partners Global Shapers Hub in Tamale and NGI to Organize Poetry Competition To Help Fight Drug Abuse In Ghana

The IM Poetry Championship, This maiden literary competition is an initiative of IM Legacy Projects in Partnership with the Global shapers Hub of Tamale, Northern Girls Initiative and HostersHub. It seeks to empower Ghanaian creatives in public speaking while aiding them to use their talents to address social problems in our communities.

The winner of the competition is purely going to be judged based on votes or likes online when their videos are uploaded .

It is a competition that will feature both established poets and upcoming poets from different tertiary institutions in Ghana. The prize for the winner is a Ghc 1000 and an opportunity for their poem(s) to be published by IM Legacy Projects and for them to perform at various events.

This maiden literary competition seeks to help Ghanaian creatives hone their skills and also showcase their talents as they address social issues through poetry.

The theme for this maiden Poetry Championship is "Drug Abuse: a canker in Societal Development".
By this, all submissions must be addressing drug abuse.

Remember, deadline for submission is 11:59pm, 16th December, 2022.

VIDEO Instructions
1. Can be taken with either a phone or a professional camera (if you have)
2. Video must be taken in landscape
3. Video must not extend beyond four minutes
4. Video should be taken from waist level up to your head (your legs should not show)
