New STEM lab in Tema by Africa ICT Right to boost digital skills and innovation in Ghana

Tema, Ghana - Africa ICT Right in collaboration with Alex More, lead teacher of Innovation in Teaching & Learning at Shaftesbury School, UK and our EdTech partners is proud to announce the opening of a new State-of-the art STEM lab in Tema called “The Alex More’s Future Classroom”. The lab, which is located in the heart of Tema West in Ghana will serve as a hub for innovation with the latest technology equipment for the advancement of STEM teaching and learning for students, professionals and entrepreneurs in Tema and beyond.

The Alex More’s Future Classroom lab is equipped with the state-of-the-art short-throw projector provided by Epson, Virtual Reality (VR) headsets provided by RedboxVR Ltd, and ExpeditionsPro, a VEX Robotics kit from VEX Robotics, a Panacast camara and 510 speaker from Jabra, a 3D printer from Tronxy and a custom throwable microphone from Catchbox.

The lab will offer a wide range of programs and workshops in Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual and Augmented reality (VR/AR), Robotics, Coding, Internet of Things (IOT), etc to help students and entrepreneurs prepare for future jobs and opportunities in STEM. The lab will also bring together tech-savvy individuals from across the region to share ideas and co-create new solutions.
