library in Utrecht you can recharge your electric devices by cycling
A library in Utrecht, Netherlands is the first place you can charge your electric devices by cycling.
The library has installed a special bicycle that has been fitted with an electric motor. When you ride the bike for 1 hour, it charges your phone for 30 minutes.
The bike also offers free WiFi, so if you're lucky enough to be there when it's open, you can also work out while recharging your phone!
The bike rack is equipped with sensors that detect how much energy each user generates as they pedal, and then it uses that data to offer them an estimate of how much power their ride will generate for charging purposes.
