NO WOMAN IS A SLAVE OF A MAN - APOSTLE DR. MAWULI MAWUKO

Marriage, one of the most beautiful institutions of God was established for the joy and happiness of humanity. It was never the intention of God for marriage to be endured.

For most couple, however, the reality of their marriage is a far cry from the intentions of God in instituting this union.

At weddings, grooms and brides covenant to live their lives for each other. The often refrained vows exchanged by the man and the woman paint a picture of a people who are ready to sacrifice their lives for each other.

"I, _____, take you, _____, for my lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. I will love and honor you all the days of my life".

Despite taking this vow, some men have turned their wives into punching bags. They subject them to both physical and emotional abuse .

Women have thus been advised to refrain from turning themselves into slaves of men. This admonishment formed part of a message delivered by Apostle Dr. Mawuli Mawuko, the General Overseer of Glory of Heaven ministry International titled "Why Divorce?.

"No woman is a slave of a man. This flesh nobody can make it, no man can make flesh. The items purchased for your engagement and given to your parents cannot create a human being. Child birth is a very difficult thing. A man therefore is privileged to live with woman as a wife. Why some men end up killing their wives is unthinkable because life does not belong to any man. what you destroy by killing you cannot bring to life again" the man of God intimated.
