The outcome of the vetting process will be announced on the GUPS website and social media platforms and the candidates who are cleared by the vetting committee would then move on to the next stage of the election process, which is the campaign period.

The GUPS election process is a democratic exercise that allows members of the union to elect their leaders.
The union which has been active since the early 1980s as a tertiary professional students network, espousing the cause of students through advocacy, capacity building and relief programs, has always held on to democratic beliefs and is committed to ensuring that the election process is fair and transparent.

The president of the union, H.E Miss Emily Jemima Nyarko, has stated that she is confident of a peaceful, free election devoid of any biases and that this year's Delegates Congress will be full of interesting activities.
