President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has taken steps to address concerns from Organised Labour about the sale of four SSNIT hotels to Minister for Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong.
After receiving a petition to halt the sale, the president has directed Minister for Employment and Labour Relations Ignatius Baffour Awuah to discuss the issue with labour leaders. The aim is to find a mutually acceptable solution that considers all stakeholders' interests.
Trades Union Congress (TUC) Secretary-General Dr. Yaw Baah confirmed this directive.
Meanwhile, MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has petitioned the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to investigate the sale.
