Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ongoing ambulance trial, has defended recording a private conversation with Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame, which has since leaked.
The tape allegedly captures the Attorney-General trying to persuade Jakpa to implicate Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the first accused in the case.
Jakpa justified his actions by asserting that the Attorney-General's behavior breached the law. He challenged claims that the tape was doctored, urging the original to be presented in court.
Jakpa argued that the conversation, involving potential crimes, could not remain private and emphasized his pursuit of justice.
