The Attorney General’s office has dismissed Richard Jakpa’s motion to strike out charges as a continuation of his public theatrics aimed at discrediting the prosecution.
Jakpa claimed that Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame misused his office by pressuring him to testify against the minority leader, Ato Forson.
In response, the Attorney General’s affidavit denies all allegations, asserting that the prosecution is based on substantial evidence from thorough investigations.
The AG argues that Jakpa's claims are spurious and designed to create unnecessary doubts about the court's ability to deliver justice, despite the AG’s adherence to professionalism amid persistent insults.
