The High Court in Accra will decide on June 13 whether to admit an audio recording as evidence in the ongoing ambulance case involving Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson and others.
The recording features a conversation between Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame and the third accused, Richard Jakpa. Dr. Forson's lawyers submitted the audio to cross-examine Jakpa, alleging the Attorney General tried to implicate Forson.
The prosecution objects, arguing the audio is irrelevant to the main trial and breaches privacy rights.
Dr. Forson's lawyers argue it is relevant and exposes potential judicial interference by the Attorney General.
