Bawumia announces free dialysis for all NHIS patients starting December 1

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP flagbearer, has announced that beginning December 1, 2024, all kidney dialysis treatments will be fully covered under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

This expansion follows a successful pilot program launched six months ago, which provided free dialysis for patients over 60 and those under 18.
