The High Court in Accra has admitted full WhatsApp messages between Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ambulance procurement trial, and Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame as evidence.
Judge Afia Serwaa Asare-Botwe ruled that since partial chats were previously accepted, the complete conversation must also be admitted, though the weight of this evidence remains at the court's discretion.
Director of Public Prosecutions Yvonne Atakora Obuobisa emphasized the significant number of messages sent by Jakpa compared to limited responses from the Attorney-General.
Despite objections from Jakpa's counsel for more time to review the messages, the court admitted the full conversation.
