NDC pledges to abolish double-track system and expand youth apprenticeship

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has announced the party’s plans to end the double-track system by completing all 200 Community Day Schools started under former President John Mahama.

Speaking in Sekyeredumasi, he explained that finishing these schools will increase classroom space, allowing students to attend under the Free SHS policy without alternating schedules.

The NDC also reaffirmed its commitment to Free SHS and outlined a Youth in Apprenticeship Program to support those without secondary education.

Asiedu Nketiah urged young people to support the NDC, highlighting the importance of youth involvement in shaping Ghana's future.
