Former President John Dramani Mahama has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of deceiving Ghanaians with unfulfilled promises like the "One District, One Factory" initiative and $1 million per constituency.
Speaking in Ayensuano, he labeled these promises as vote-winning tactics without real development.
Mahama also criticized the NPP’s neglect of Ghana’s infrastructure, citing the collapse of the Accra-Nsawam railway as evidence of poor governance.
He alleged that the government is dismantling and selling railway assets for personal gain.
Calling for change, Mahama urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP, accusing them of prioritizing self-enrichment over national progress.
"The NPP has caused enough harm; it’s time for accountability and real leadership," he emphasized.
