North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced the next stage of opposition to the sale of SSNIT's 60% stake in four hotels, termed 'Operation Blockade'.
This strategy involves obstructing all government business until the sale is suspended.
The announcement follows an indefinite strike by organized labor, led by the Trades Union Congress (TUC), opposing the sale approved by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA).
Despite Rock City withdrawing its bid, Ablakwa insists that the Minority will block government operations, including the Mid-Year Budget Review, if their demands are not met.
