The Ministry of Roads and Highways has opened Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

The interchange which was inaugurated by President Mahama on Monday is expected to ease the traffic and decongest trading activities in the area.

The project estimated at $74 million was jointly financed by the Brazilian government and the government of Ghana.

Construction works commenced in October, 2013, according to some experts, has the highest flyover in West Africa.
