By-Election: NPP holds Manhyia South primary on July 14 as NAPO takes running mate job

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set timelines for the Manhyia South Constituency parliamentary primary ahead of a by-election, following the nomination of Energy Minister and MP Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the NPP's vice-presidential candidate.

Nomination forms will be available from July 8-9, 2024, with the primary on July 14.

A non-refundable application fee is GH₵3,000.00, and filing costs GH₵35,000.00, with a 50% rebate for women, youth (18-40), and persons with disabilities.

The Electoral Commission has yet to announce the by-election date.
